This License Agreement explains how you may use artwork you buy from OgruStudios (“we”, “us”). When you buy an artwork, you buy a license to use it. You do not buy the artwork itself or its copyright. Each purchase covers one artwork for one licensee (one person, or one company or organisation).
1. Ownership
All artwork, including its files, previews and titles, is the work of OgruStudios and is protected by copyright. We keep all rights we do not expressly grant to you in this agreement. Every license is non-exclusive and non-transferable, and you may not sublicense it.
2. Personal License
For personal, non-commercial use only. You may:
- Print the artwork at home or through a print shop, for your own home or as a personal gift
- Use it as a wallpaper or screensaver on your own devices
- Use it in personal, non-commercial projects such as a journal, a school project or a private event
You may not use it for anything that earns money, promotes a business, or is sold or given away as a product.
3. Commercial License
Everything in the Personal License, plus small-scale commercial use. You may use the artwork in:
- Social media posts and profile or banner images for a business or creator account
- Blogs, websites, newsletters and online articles
- Marketing materials for a small business, such as flyers, menus, presentations and ads
- Decor in a business space, such as a café, studio or office
You may not use it on products made for sale or resale, such as prints, apparel, mugs or stationery. That needs an Extended Commercial License.
4. Extended Commercial License
Everything in the Commercial License, plus large-scale and product use. You may use the artwork:
- On merchandise and physical or digital products for sale, including print-on-demand
- In large advertising and marketing campaigns, including print, outdoor and broadcast
- On packaging, book covers, album art and similar commercial uses, with no limit on the number of copies
5. Not allowed under any license
- Reselling, sharing or giving away the digital files themselves, as they are or modified, including as stock, templates, or in bundles or file libraries
- Claiming the artwork, or a modified version of it, as your own work
- Using the artwork in a logo, trademark or brand identity
- Minting it as an NFT, or using it to train or fine-tune AI or machine-learning models, or in datasets for them
- Using it in any way that is unlawful, defamatory or hateful, or that suggests we endorse you, your product or your views
6. Credit
Credit is not required, but we always appreciate it: “Artwork by OgruStudios”.
7. Upgrades
Need more rights later? Contact us with your order number and we’ll upgrade your license for the difference in price.
8. Ending the license
If you break these terms, your license ends automatically. Your license also ends if your order is refunded, or if your payment is reversed or charged back. In any of these cases you must stop using the artwork and delete all copies. Uses of the artwork that were already permitted and completed before the license ended, such as products already sold, are not affected.
9. Disclaimer
Files are provided “as is”. Colours can look different on different screens and printers. Our total liability for any claim relating to a license is limited to the amount you paid for it.
10. Questions
If you’re unsure whether your use is covered, ask us before you use the artwork.
